WALNUTS
We bought these walnuts from the lovely family below on a wonderful day trip up into the countryside north of Lviv. Its beautiful there, my girlfriend described it perfectly as ‘like being in a fairytale’…all gingerbread cottages and ponies. As we pulled up outside their house the kids all came tumbling and giggling out of the house to do their sweet ‘sales pitch’ on us. They were GORGEOUS. Lovely, friendly and shy. We bought all their nuts and all their apples. Shame we couldn’t bring all the cepes and chanterelles they had as well!
