A BULGARIAN NEIGHBOUR This is Slavi. Known by everyone in my village as ‘The Doctor’. Strange, as he apprently has never been one. He speaks to me in French as my Bulgarian is still, I’m ashamed to say, rubbish. For those of you who don’t know, I have a monthly column in Black+White Photography Magazine, which is a jolly lovely publication, run by jolly lovely people, and this is a picture I used in this month’s episode.
